First Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty in Northern California!

This July 2018 we performed the first Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty procedure in Northern California at the Paul May & Frank Stein Interventional Endoscopy Center at California Pacific Medical Center! This is an outpatient procedure that uses the flexible endoscope to perform weight loss “surgery” all from inside the body. The flexible endoscope passes through the mouth into the stomach—no incisions, no scars, no collateral damage to healthy tissue!
